Step into the shadowy side of Thornton for our second Ghost Walk, a family‑friendly journey through the haunted history and folklore of the village where the Brontë sisters were born.
Led by your guide Adam, the brilliant leader of Haunted Haworth ghost walks, this atmospheric evening walk winds through Thornton’s snickets, ginnels and hidden corners, uncovering tales that have lingered for generations. Hear the tragic story of Fair Becca, encounter spectral hounds and haunted houses, and follow threads of mystery, superstition and “murder most foul” woven into the village’s past.
This walk is suitable for all ages, with storytelling that balances eerie intrigue and historical insight. Wrap up warm, bring your curiosity, and join us for a spine‑tingling tour through Thornton’s darker tales.
The Bronte Birthplace tearoom will be open beforehand for hot chocolate, and spooky sweet treats!
