We’re thrilled to be taking part in this year’s Thornton Art Trail, a wonderful celebration of art, creativity and local talent that weaves its way through our beautiful village from Saturday 14th to Sunday 15th June 2025.
The Art Trail invites visitors to explore a vibrant mix of open studios, exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops — all within walking distance. From private homes to local galleries, every corner of Thornton comes alive with inspiration.
Artist in Residence
We’re proud to announce that our Artist in Residence, the incredibly talented Teresa Flavin, will be showcasing her work in the parlour of the Brontë Birthplace throughout the weekend (11am – 4pm).
Visitors will have the opportunity to view her stunning pieces, watch Teresa at work as she paints live in our café beside the famous fireplace — and even purchase a piece of her artwork to take home.

All venues are walkable — the trail spans just one mile and can be joined at any point.
