Visitor Terms & Conditions

By booking a visit to the Brontë Birthplace, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking & Admission

  • All bookings are subject to availability and must be made in advance through our official website.

  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled time. Late arrivals may not be admitted, depending on capacity and tour flow.

  • Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before your visit may be eligible for a refund.

  • If we need to cancel or reschedule your visit due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date or full refund.

3. Accessibility

  • The ground floor is fully accessible via a lift through our café area.

  • Please note that certain areas may be closed during soft furnishings, maintenance or ongoing works.

4. Photography & Media

  • Visitors are welcome to take personal photographs unless otherwise stated.

  • Commercial photography, filming, or use of tripods must be approved in advance by our team.

  • Please respect our historic building, staff, volunteers, and fellow visitors.

  • Brontë Birthplace reserves the right to refuse entry or ask individuals to leave if behaviour is disruptive or unsafe.

7. Personal Belongings

  • We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property during your visit.
