We’re delighted to share that the Brontë Birthplace will have its very own Christmas tree featured in this year’s Christmas Tree Festival at St James Church, Thornton — just a short walk from the birthplace itself!
The festival runs from 22nd–29th November and brings together beautifully decorated trees from local institutions, charities, and community groups — a wonderful celebration of creativity and community spirit. Bell Chapel, where Patrick Brontë once preached, which is now cared for by a dedicated group of volunteers.
It’s the perfect way to start the festive season — surrounded by light, history, and a touch of literary magic. 🌟
