orn artist Kevin Jones draws much of his inspiration from long walks with
Bran\, his blue merle border collie. Time spent in the landscape allows hi
m to connect deeply with nature\, observing how weather\, terrain\, and sh
ifting seasons shape the world around him. His paintings explore the inter
play between natural elements and ever-changing light.\n“The interest fo
r me is in the way that light breathes life into the landscape. No matter
how often I might walk in a particular landscape I find that the light is
always different. I love to observe how light and seasonal change interact
and impact the landscape\, and I am constantly chasing and trying to capt
ure the subtle but powerful beauty of nature in my paintings.”\n \n\n \n
Annie Lancaster\n\n\nBased in Elland\, West Yorkshire\, Annie Lancaster is
a textile artist specialising in hand embroidery\, goldwork\, and traditi
onal rag rugging. Her practice blends historical craft with contemporary s
 ensitivity\, often incorporating vintage fabrics\, lace\, trims\, and York
 shire wool—materials she dyes\, repurposes\, and reimagines. Annie’s w
ork is rooted in both heritage and sustainability\, frequently using texti
les that might otherwise have gone to landfill.\n\nHer inspiration comes f
rom architectural details and the natural world. She sketches and photogra
 phs plants\, animals\, insects\, and historic motifs\, later transforming
these observations into intricate textile pieces in her home studio.\n\n \
n\n \n\nEntrance to the exhibition included with a standard Self Guided To
ur ticket (£6) or Guided Tour ticket (£12).\n\nBook your tour now!\n\n&n
